How do I restore my Pocket Zen Pass?
Open Settings (the sliders button at the bottom right of the garden) and tap Restore purchases. You'll also find Restore on the Pocket Zen Pass screen. Make sure you're signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to buy the Pass.
Can my family use the Pass?
Yes. The Pass supports Family Sharing. Once the family organiser shares purchases, family members can simply open the app — and tap Restore purchases if the Pass doesn't appear right away. Tips are simple thank-yous, so they aren't shared.
What do tips unlock?
Nothing, on purpose. Tips — a cup of tea, a lantern or a koi — are an optional way to thank the gardener.

How do I change the garden or the season?
Tap the globe button in the bottom bar to open Garden world. Swipe the turntable (or use the arrows) and tap Choose this garden. Japan is free; Vietnam, Korea and China come with the Pocket Zen Pass. Each garden keeps its own plants, decorations and rake pattern; your journal comes with you. Below the turntable you can keep the season automatic or choose one to keep all year.
How do I walk and change outfits?
Tap the walking figure on the right side of the garden. Use the round stick at the bottom left to walk, drag anywhere else to swing the camera, and pinch to come closer. Tap the shirt button to choose a hat and a jacket; items with a lock come with the Pocket Zen Pass. Tap Stop walking to return.
How do visitors work?
Visitors come on their own when conditions suit them: a decoration they like, the weather, the time of day and the season. Each stays a few minutes — tap one to say hello and it lingers. They also visit while you're away; look for them in the “While you were away” note. Your journal shows a hint for every visitor you haven't met yet.
How do I turn and zoom the garden?
Drag the grass, rocks or sky with one finger to turn the island, pinch to zoom, and double-tap a plant, fish, visitor or decoration to look closer. The buttons on the right offer ready-made views — Whole garden, From above, Eye level and By the pond — and a way back to the whole garden.

How do I change the language?
Pocket Zen World speaks English, Tiếng Việt, 日本語, 한국어 and 简体中文. Choose the language in Garden world (the globe button); it doesn't depend on the garden you're in.
Why can't I hear anything?
Pocket Zen World respects your iPhone's silent mode (sleep sounds are the one exception, since you start them yourself). Turn silent mode off, then check the volume sliders under Sound in the app's Settings.
Do sleep sounds keep playing when my phone is locked?
Yes. Tap the leaf button → Sleep sounds, choose a soundscape and a timer, then lock your phone. The sound fades out over the last few minutes, and you can pause or stop it from the Lock Screen.
How do gentle reminders work?
They're off by default. Turn them on in Settings → Reminders and the app schedules at most one quiet notification, for example when something is about to bloom.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit or the + button, then look for Pocket Zen World. There are small, medium and large widgets — the larger ones have Water and Breathe buttons — plus Lock Screen widgets.
How do I start over?
In Settings, tap Start a new world, then Erase this world. This removes your garden and journal from this device and can't be undone. Your Pocket Zen Pass belongs to your Apple Account, so it stays.
